We have introduced a new Fast Track online course that will cover Counselling Skills Level 2 and Counselling Studies Level 3.
The online training will be on Zoom, studying face-to-face with your tutor and fellow trainees, with discussion and opportunities to practice skills in break-out rooms.
This intensive course covers the basic counselling skills needed to help others, including counselling theory, ethics and concepts of mental health.
The course will not provide you with the qualifications needed to practice as a professional counsellor, but it will prepare you in the quickest manner to begin the Level 4 course, which is a two-year part-time training that provides the necessary qualification to work as a professional counsellor/psychotherapist.
The Fast Track course will be a combination of evening and full-day sessions. There will be a small gap between the Level 2 course finishing and Level 3 course starting.
As with all our training, you will be supported by experienced tutors, who are themselves professional counsellors. You will have access to videos and workbooks, so you can catch up on material if you miss a session. You will also have access to additional online practice groups, allowing you to develop your skills outside standard course hours.
It is not necessary for students to be in personal therapy to be on this course, although this can be helpful.
This course is supported by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB). Read more about Level 2 and Level 3.
